How do brands get picked?
Every brand in the Hoose is chosen by hand — no paid placements, no algorithm. We're looking for labels doing something distinctive with design, craft, or point of view — not just another logo on a polo, and not just the same big names every pro shop already carries.
How do I submit a brand?
Use the submission form on the About page, or email ross@thehalfwayhoose.com with the brand name and a link to their site. If it's your own brand, tell us a bit about how it started.
Do brands pay to be listed?
No. Listings are free and unranked — brands appear alphabetically, not by who paid the most. Nobody pays, full stop.
Can I use a brand's product photos on your Instagram/TikTok?
Only with the brand's permission. We ask each brand directly before featuring their imagery in a spotlight post, and always link back to their site.
I run a brand — how do I get featured on Instagram/TikTok, not just the site?
Get in touch the same way as a listing submission, and mention you're open to a spotlight feature. We'll follow up about photos and a short interview.
